Now they have 2 versions: the one for the 1.67 version of the game and the one for the 1.69 version. I also realized the download page for CAW had changed. She said as a last resort, uninstall CAW and reinstall it fromt he Sims 3 site. She was nice, but we couldn't seem to fix Create a World. They helped me as best i could, one of the game advisors even gave me a coupon to use on Origin (as if i'd ever use it though.) for my time, helped me reinstall the Base Game and helped me change a few other settings from her end. I kept getting the "The Sims 3 Create a World - Beta has crashed! Exception." I don't remember all of the text, but i got the error and i immediately contacted EA Customer service. Long story short, i can no longer seem to play the Sims 3 without logging into Origin first and to top it all off - CREATE A WORLD KEPT CRASHING UPON LAUNCH. I bought Showtime yesterday at a local Target and since my disk drive doesn't work as well as it used to, i had to install it through Origin.
